The Girls Swim and Dive team competed in the Northern Indiana Conference Championship Meet on Saturday. Adams had a good showing in the meet and finished in 2nd place as the runner up with a score of 348. The team swam well, finishing with 12 podium finishes. Willa Kricheff had a first place finish in the 500 Freestyle. Kricheff was crowned the NIC Champion in the event with a time of 5:22.38. Kricheff made the podium in the 100 Breaststroke as well, taking 2nd place. Addy Szakaly finished as runner up on the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke, Jenna Freymuth finished 2nd in Diving, Shannon Dowd finished 4th in the 100 Freestyle and 7th in the 50 Freestyle, Liz Anderson took 7th place in both the 200 Individual medley and 10 Butterfly, and Avery Hoeppner finished 7th in the 100 Breaststroke. Four relays finished on the podium as well. Szakaly, Kricheff, Anderson and Dowd finished as runner ups in the 200 Medley Relay. Aislinn Weatherall Dehmlow, Hoeppner, Grace Knutson, and Isa Clark finished 6th in the 200 Freestyle Relay. In the 400 Freestyle Relay Szakaly, Dowd, Anderson, and Kricheff finished in 3rd place and Weatherall Dehmlow, Clark, Knutson, and Hoeppner finished in 7th place.
