The Boys Basketball team opened up the 2026 IHSAA Sectional Tournament on Tuesday night. The Eagles took on the host Mishawaka Cavemen in the opening game of the tournament. It was a thriller of a game that came down to the last seconds of the game, but the Eagles prevailed 57-55 Adams got out to a quick start in the opening quarter and held on to lead at half. The Cavemen came out strong to open the second half, and took the lead. Adams clawed their way back through the fourth quarter. With just seconds left, the game was tied at 55-55. Free throws from Drew Dixon and Jarvis Tolbert sealed the victory for the Eagles. The Adams defense was strong, forcing 20 turnovers in the game. Tolbert was the leading scorer for Adams with 26 points.
