The Boys Track and Field team competed in the Northern Indiana Conference Championship Meet on Thursday night at Penn HS. The Eagles had some strong performances, with several season best times. Overall, the Eagles finished in 4th place with a score of 67 Max Howk was crowned the NIC Champion in the 1600 Run after an amazing run to hold off a late attack from the field. Howk crossed the finish line with a championship time of 4:25.91 Timon Johnson had a runner up finish in the 400 Dash to earn All Conference Honors. Both Howk and Johnson were a part of the third palace finishing 4x400 Relay as well. Johnson and Howk were joined by teammates Noah Tarwacki and Adam Larsen in the race.
